Hickie Cleared To Play

Denis Hickie (Leinster/St. Mary’s College) has recovered from a wrist injury, and will fill the vacant left wing position on the Irish team for Saturday’s clash with Australia.

Denis Hickie (Leinster/St. Mary’s College) has recovered from a wrist injury, which he sustained in the Leinster versus Bridgend Celtic League fixture, and will fill the vacant left wing position on the Irish team to play Australia in the permanent tsb international at Lansdowne Road on Saturday (2.30).

The AN Other position on the replacements bench has been filled by John Kelly (Munster/Cork Constitution).

Paul Wallace (Leinster/Blackrock College) has withdrawn from the replacements bench to play Australia due to an ankle injury.
Wallace aggravated the injury, which was sustained while playing for Leinster against Swansea. His place on the replacements bench will be filled by Marcus Horan (Munster/Shannon).
