RFU 2007 RWC Proposal

RFU 2007 RWC Proposal

“We want to create a bigger more exclusive event that incorporates many more rugby playing countries of the world. We are proposing a revised format to deliver two tournaments that will run in parallel – the RWC for the leading 16 nations and the Rugby World Nations Cup (RWNC) for a further 32 developing nations.”

So say the RFU in their proposal to host the 2007 Rugby World Cup. They submitted their proposal along with the French Rugby Union last Friday to the Directors of RWC but a decision on which country will host the event will not be made until next April.

So what are your thoughts on the matter.
