Ulster are well set to retain the Youth (U18) Interprovincial title following their 18-15 win over Connacht in Heffernan Park, Ballina on Saturday.
Ulster led 7-5 at half time thanks to a Dale Black try, converted by Mark Bamford. Connacht’s score came from Richard Lally.
In the second half, Stephen Ferris scored Ulster’s second try while replacement, Neville Farr kicked two penalties.

Ulster had already beaten Munster – who edged out Leinster 15-10 – and now face Leinster next weekend.
