Namibia qualified for Rugby World Cup 2003 despite losing their final match to Tunisa 24-17. Namibia go through on try difference and join Australia, Argentina, Ireland and Romania in Pool A.

Tunisia now go through to the repechage and will meet the winner of Spain v Russia. Georgia have won the Europe 3 spot in Pool C after beating Russia 17-13 in an enthralling game in front of 35,000 spectators. They play in Pool C joining South Africa, England, Samoa and Uruguay.
