In another remarkable performance from the western province they snatched victory having trailed 17-5 at half-time. their try scorers were Wayne Munn, Darren Yapp and Mark McHugh. McHugh kicked a penalty and Eric Elwood also landed two crucial kicks.

In other games played today (Sat), Pontypridd beat Glasgow 34-28 while in Pool A Swansea defeated Caerphilly 37-32.
