There were no changes for next Saturday’s Rugby World Cup qualifier against Georgia when Brian O’Brien announced the side today at Greystones RFC.
Captain Keith Wood and out-half Ronan O’Gara took no part in training this morning, Wood because of a slight back problem and O’Gara with an injury to his knee, but neither was considered in any doubt for Saturday’s game.
Ireland. Girvan Dempsey; John Kelly, Brian O’Driscoll, Kevin Maggs, Denis Hickie; Ronan O’Gara, Peter Stringer; Reggie Corrigan, Keith Wood (Capt.), John Hayes; Gary Longwell, Malcolm O’Kelly, Simon Easterby, Keith Gleeson, Anthony Foley.
Replacements: Shane Byrne, Paul Wallace, Leo Cullen, Alan Quinlan, Guy Easterby, David Humphreys, Rob Henderson.
