Munster ended their Under 21 Interprovincial league campaign in impressive fashion when they defeated Ulster, 48-20, in Thomond Park and Connacht defeated Leinster 12-9

Munster ended their Under 21 Interprovincial league campaign in impressive fashion when they defeated Ulster, 48-20, in Thomond Park and Connacht defeated Leinster 12-9. Munster head the League table and will have home advantage in the play-off with Leinster (tbc) next weekend.

Ulster, unbeaten up to now, scored first in Thomond Park but Munster quickly established dominance and by half time they led 21-13.
The trend continued in the second half, with Barry Keeshan controlling matters at out-half with his pack supplying him with a steadyflow of quality ball.

Munster scorers – P O’Brien (try), F O’Loughlin (try), E Nihill (try), S Keogh (try), J Rothwell (try), R Lane (con)), B Keeshan (2 con, 4 pen).

Ulster scorers – T Bowe (try), G Martin (try), I Humphreys (2 con, 2 pen).
