Title holders Leinster Lions crashed to their third consecutive defeat in this year’s Celtic League when they went down 30-17 against Cardiff at The Arms Park.
After an encouraging start they led 7-6 at half time, their try coming form Des Dillon but the home side upped the ante in the second half and tries from Anthony O’Sullivan and Martin Wallace proved decisive.
