After a twelve and a half hour journey, thanks to a Moscow delay, the Irish squad arrived in Krasnoyarsk eighteen hours after leaving their Wicklow hotel.

They boarded their plane at 7.20 am yesterday morning and then had an uneventfull four hour journey to Moscow where they had a scheduled re-fuel. However that stop over was delayed for over three hours and then after another four and a half hour flight they finally reached their destination at 9.30 pm (Irish time).

Nevertheless the players were in good form. They had worked out on the plane and the plan was to allow them a lie-in this morning to catch up on much needed sleep.
Later on today they will visit the stadium (6pm).
