Connacht Debut For Norton

Former Schools, U19/21 and Student international James Norton will make his debut for Connacht in Friday’s Celtic League encounter with Newport at the Sportsgound (5.45pm)

With Mark McHugh Siberia bound, Connacht coach Steph Nel has called up former Schools international James Nortonfor their Celtic League encounter against Newport at the Galway Sportsground this Friday evening (kick-off 5.45 pm).

21 year old Norton has also been capped at Student level and was member of the Ireland Under 21 World Cup squad last year.
Gavin Duffy is still out through injury but hooker Marnus Uijs and flanker Johnny O’Connor are back from injury and named on the replacement bench.
The only other change to the side is at openside wing-forward where Colm Rigney is selected ahead of Paul Neville.
