Ulster were sent crashing to a 38-10 defeat by Swansea in St Helens in a game that saw the home side score four tries that helped them secure a bonus point.
Ulster took the lead with a try from Tyrone Howe with David Humphreys kicking the conversion and adding a penalty. However the home side struck back with tries from Scott Gibbs, Kevin Morgan, Matthew Robinson and Shaun Payne.
Ulster lost both Paddy Wallace and Humphreys through injury

Glasgow maintained their 100% record as they fought back from 9-25 down to score 22 unanswered points in under 15 minutes. Tommy Hayes scored 21 points for the Warriors through a try, four penalties and two conversions as the Scots left Newport still without a win after three attempts although they did pick up a consolation bonus point.

Mike Ruddock’s Steelman of Ebbw Vale survived having Tyron Morris sent off early on as Mark Meenan contributed 20 points with the boot to see them past Caerphilly 45-25, despite the scores level 18-18 at half-time.
