Connacht’s hopes of completing a Celtic League Cardiff Double were dealt a blow with the news that Eric Elwood is doubtful for the Sprotsground encounter on Friday (6pm).
Elwood suffered a rib injury in the 28-27 victory over Borders last Friday night and the number 10 berth was left vacant when the side to play Cardiff was named. An ankle injury to A international Johnny O’Connor means a recall for Paul Neville.
