More Cry Offs For Munster.

30/08/2002. Munster hopes of victory in Stradey Park were further dented with the news that captain Jim Williams will take no part in his side’s opening Celtic League clash with Llanelli

Jim Williams who was recently apponted captain of the Munster side will miss the opening Celtic League clash with Llanelli at Stradey Park on Saturday for personal reasons.
Williams’ absence means that Eddie Halvey will come into the back-row and Anthony Foley will take over the captaincy. Colm McMahon will come onto the replacement bench in place of Halvey.

An ankle injury has forced the withdrawal of John O’Neill, his place on the wing goes to Mossie Lawlor.
