Leinster Face Strong ‘Irish’ Side.

With fourteen of his squad on duty with the national squad, Matt Williams’ Leinster Lions face a tough assignment this evening when they take on London Irish in Dr. Hickey Park, Greystones (7pm).

London Irish bring a full strength squad over to Ireland for this pre-season warm up and it is expected that they will field a pretty formidable side this evening for their joust with Leinster at Dr. Hickey Park.

Included will be Pieter Roussouw, their new Springboks signing although his compatriot, Brendan Venter will sit out tonight’s game. Joining Roussouw in the London Irish backline will be former Leinster 10, Barry Everitt plus England internationals centre Geoff Appleford and full-back Michael Horak.
Their pack will include Naka Drotske, Ryan Strudwick and the veteran Chris Sheasby.
