The Right To View

To pay or not to pay ?

The decision of the FAI to accept a Sky deal caused a huge furore when it was announced a few weeks ago and led to a call to the government to ‘list’ certain events so that they could only be shown on terrestial television.
Among those opposed to the ‘listing’ of matches is IRFU CEO Phillip Browne who has set out on this site his reasons why.

So what do our messageboard subscribers thiink ?
Browne certainly has some fairly scathing comments to make about RTE. Do you agree or disagree ?

And what do Leinster people make of Andrew’s view about Brian ‘Munster can have him back’ O’Meara. ? Is he really as Andrew insists, ‘ a poor scrum-half ‘ ?

Let’s hear what you have to say.
