Shell Northern Ireland Ltd. have announced details of a substantial new three-year commercial partnership with Ulster Rugby. The deal will see the Shell Direct logo on the back of the jersey.

Shell Northern Ireland Ltd. have announced details of a substantial new three-year commercial partnership with Ulster Rugby. The deal will see the Shell Direct logo on the back of the jersey which is now on sale.

Stephen Adamson, General Manager for Shell Direct (NI) commented: “Shell
Northern Ireland Ltd. are excited and delighted to be sponsoring Ulster Rugby for the coming three seasons. The success of the Ulster Team from both a results and support perspective makes this decision the natural choice. We
look forward to a thrilling 2002/03 season, cheering on the team in Interprovincial, Celtic League and European Cup campaigns and seeing that famous Ravenhill atmosphere “boil over” again.

Simon Wallace, Commercial Manager of the I.R.F.U (Ulster Branch) said: “Ulster Rugby are delighted to welcome Shell on board as a commercial partner. Their generous backing will help ensure that Ulster is well
positioned to meet the challenges ahead and we look forward to further developing our alliance over the next three seasons.”

The 2002/03 season kicks off in a little over two weeks time on the 16th August with a friendly against Bedford at Ravenhill.
