Instonians Send Players To New Zealand

As part of their internal development programme, Instonians have introduced a novel scholarship system.

The first three players to benefit from this are:

Chris Scoffield, John Gardiner (pictured) and Kenneth Kenneth Morton.

The scheme provides for these players to travel to play rugby in New Zealand during the Northern hemisphere’s off-season. The host club in this case is Shirley RFC from Christchurch. Instonians are hoping this will lead to reciprocation with their players during our season.
