New Zealand Call Up For John O’Neill.

29/05/02. Munster wing John O’Neill has been called into the Ireland squad for the tour to New Zealand to fill the vacancy left by the withdrawal of Rob Henderson.

O’Neill (pictured) played only his second Heineken Cup game of the season on Saturday last in the final against Leicester Tigers at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium. Prior to that game his only turn out for Munster was in the Pool game against NEC Harlequins in Thomond Park in early January.
