Warner Leinster’s Newest Aussie.

Christian Warner, a 26 year old Australian has signed for Leinster and will team up with his compatriots in Donnybrook for the coming season.

Matt Williams, Leinster’s Provincial Director of Rugby, announced the signing of outhalf and utility back Warner to ‘bolster Leinster’s challenge in Europe next season’.

“I am looking forward to working with Christian again” said Williams, ” Christian, ‘JPR’, is a superb all-rounder who will further add to our fluid back-line.”

Warner, (born 22/1/76), is currently playing with French side Pau. His honours to date include Australian Under 19’s, Australian Under 21’s and Australia ‘A’. He was in school in Waverley College, Sydney and Randwick is his ‘home’ club. ‘JPR’ played Super -12 for five years with the NSW Waratahs (’97-’01).
