Ireland Squad continue training in Limerick

The 37 man squad continued their 4-day training session today in Limerick in preparation for the upcoming Test series against New Zealand this June.

Ireland are scheduled to play the All Blacks in Dunedin on June 15 and Auckland seven days later.
Whilst
Denis Hickie, Kevin Maggs, Kieron Dawson, Jonny Bell, Emmet Byrne, Jeremy Davidson and Shane Horgan have already been ruled out of the squad due to injuries, Eddie O’Sullivan faces further injury worries due to the injury sustained by the influential Ulsterman David Humphries.

Humphries has been hampered by an ankle injury but he is currently responding to treatment and is set to resume full training next week.

The squad had a light workout at the University of Limerick this morning and will have this afternoon off before completing their 4-day session tomorrow morning.

The 26 strong party to tour New Zealand will be announced on Thursday by coach Eddie O’Sullivan.
