Munster’s Walking Wounded List Grows

13/05/02. Following on from last Friday’s Interprovincial game against Ulster in Ravenhill, Munster’s injury worries increased with Paul O’Connell and Anthony Horgan joining the list.

Paul O’Connell twisted an ankle and Horgan damaged a shoulder and they join Jim Williams and Anthony Foley on the Munster treatment table with less than two weeks to go to the Heineken Cup final clash with Leicester.
O’Connell will have an MRI scan later today. The news on Foley and Williams is that both have resumed light training, Williams restricted to jogging while Foley has not been able to go into contact, but time is certainly not on their side.

Meanwhile, the early part of this week will be given over to national squad training as Eddie O’Sullivan asembles his squad in Limerick. Munster will hold two open days this week, on Wednesday in Limerick (Thomond Park, 4pm) and on Friday in Cork (Mugrave Park, 3pm).
