The sweltering weather conditions attracted huge crowds to the club grounds and the attendance were treated to a varied and entertaining afternoon’s rugby. The Junior final was won by Susie’s Saloon from England who defeated Old Crescent 31-0 in the opening final of the afternoon.
Next up was the Senior Womens final which saw Highfield
triumph 46-5 over English side Whitchurch.
The inaugural IRFU sanctioned U20 final ended in victory in emphatic fashion, 63-0, for Garryowen over Old Crescent while the premier competition, the Senior Mens final resulted in a 41 points to 10 victory for Fijian side, The Sanmurai over Limerick based Gladiators.
