04/05/02.Arrangements for the distribution of Heineken Cup Final Tickets have been announced with Munster Branch advising that tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday May 10th
However, it must be stressed that the majority of Munster’s allocation will be distributed through the affiliated clubs to cater for their members.
Munster, like Leicester, have been allocated 20,000 tickets, a number that is hardly likely to satisfy either club’s needs.
It seems that ERC Ltd have already sold in excess of 20,000 tickets which leaves 12,500 tickets presumeably for competition sponsors etc
In Munster, besides the clubs, tickets will be allocated to Travel Agents to assist in the distribution process, while Munster Supporters Club members will also receive their entitlement.
Tickets will go on sale in Musgrave and Thomond Park on Friday May 10th from 10am-3pm.
