Frenchman Jutge in Charge in Cardiff

04/05/02.Joel Jutge will become the second French referee to control a Heineken Cup final when he takes charge of the Munster/Leicester Tigers clash at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff

Fellow Frenchman Joel Dume refereed the first Anglo-Irish Heineken Cup final in 2000 between Northampton and Munster, the only other occasion a French club failed to reach the final.

Jutge’s touch judges for the showpiece occasion in three weeks’ time will be Joel Dume himself and Didier Mene who filled the same function two years ago.
Daniel Gilet will be the fourth official, and Michel Lamoulie the television match official.

Ireland’s Alan Lewis will referee the PARKER PEN SHIELD final on Sunday, May 26 at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford (kick-off 2pm). Alain Rolland and Donal Courtney (both Ireland) will be his touch judges and David Tyndall the fourth official.
