O’Callaghan Finally Gets To Play

30/04/02.It will be a question of third time lucky for Cork Constitution captain Ultan O’Callaghan when he leads his side out to face Shannon in Saturday’s AIB League final at Lansdowne Road.

And not third time lucky to claim a winners medal, just to be actually playing. O’Callaghan missed the final last year having picked up a hand injury in the run up to the final while in 1999 he was also sidelined when Con took the title beating Garryowen 14-11.

The captains of the Division One finalists Cork Con and Shannon were joined yesterday by Divsion Two captains Rhys Botha (Belfast Harlequins) and Liam O’Connell (UL Bohemians) in Lansdowne Road for a pre-final press conference.
Shannon are looking for their fifth title while Con are attempting to lift the title for the third time.

Ticket Prices for the attractive double-header are,
Family Ticket ( 2 adults, 4 children) – 20 euro.

Adult Stand – 12 euro.

Terrace – 5 euro.

Schoolchildren – 2 euro.

Cash will also be taken at the turnstiles
