Casey Off To London Town

30/04/02. Leinster’s international lock Bob Casey will ply his trade in the Zurich Premiership next season after agreeing terms with London Irish.

Casey joins London Irish on a two year deal but the move co-incides with a job offer that his girlfriend has accepted rather than any disenchantment with rugby here. In fact Casey has agreed terms with the IRFU for next season.

Another Leinster player bound for foreign shores is Barnhall’s Trevor Brennnan who joins Orrell at the end of this season
