Work Bgins at the Sportsground

19/04/02.Later this evening the Minister for the Marine and National Resources, Frank Fahey TD, will cut the sod for the new Connacht Branch I.R.F.U. sports pavilion at Galway Sportsground.

Also expected to attend will be the IRFU President, Mr. Roy Loughead and the Connacht Branch IRFU President, Mr. Joe Burgess.

The pavilion will consist of changing rooms, showers, medical room & drug-testing areas, weights room and offices.
