Shock of the Day in Dr Hickey Park

Connemara Win

The home side would have been expected to have much power for a Connemara side who were making their first appearance in Division Four but that was not the case and the all Blacks will now take on Dublin University in the final after the students had come from behind to defeat Old Wesley 23-13 in College Park.

In the Division Two semi final, Belfast Harlequins, the outstanding side in the division were 38-8 winners over Old Crescent at Deramore Park and they now await the outcome of the UL Bohemians v Barnhall game – scheduled for tomorrow (Sun) to see who they will face in the final.

In the AIL round robin game Highfield were 76-10 winners over Westport at Woodleigh Park.
