Guinness Interprovicial Championship

16/04/02.The Guinness Interprovincial Championship resumes next Friday with Celtic League champions Leinster playing Munster in Cork and Connacht hosting Ulster in Galway

The game in Musgrave Park promises to be a real cracker as Leinster attempt to add the Interprovicial trophy to their Celtic League silverware. A win for Matt Williams’ side will almost certainly guarantee them the title. They lead the table after their August triumph over Ulster. The all ticket affair will provide Declan Kidney’s side with very useful preparation for their Heineken Cup semi final joust with Castres a week later.

Munster expect to name their squad at a press conference in Musgrave Park on Wednesday. Stand tickets for the game are sold out but Terrace tickets, priced at 10 euro and Schoolpupil tickets priced at 4 euro are available from the Branch offices at Musgrave Park and Thomond Park and from Mahers Sports (Cork) and the usual Soprts shop outlets in Limerick.
Tickets for the game can also be purchased by Credit Card on 021-4315767 (Tues-Fri, 10am to 2pm).

Meanwhile,Connacht will resume their Guinness Interprovincial Championship campaign when they meet Ulster at the Sportsground on Friday, April 19, with a 6 pm kick-off.
