‘Dont Expect Us To Roll Over’ – Eddie O’Sullivan

06/04/02.France are just 80 minutes away from a Grand Slam and the perfect opportunity to erase the memory of the two consecutive defeats in the Lloyd TSB Six Nations Championship.

France will go into this game (1.45 kick off) as short odds favourites but Irish coach Eddie O’Sullivan is confident that his side can upset the odds. “They needn’t expect us to roll over. It all about this game and not what went before. We’ve had a good week, the mood in the squad is spot on and we’ll be giving it everything we have.”

Denis Hickie undergoes a late fitness test later this morning (Sat) but O’Sullivan is confident that he will be ok. Tyrone Howe is on standby and will come straight into the side if Hickie doesn’t make it.
