Happy Easter

30/03/02. Wishing everyone out there a very Happy Easter and particular good luck to those teams who face into this Easter Saturday with important AIB League games on their mind.

In all three divisions there are promotion/relegation battles that will decide clubs’ standing next season. In Division One there is still the play off composition to be clarified while at the bottom of the table Co Carlow and DLSP are involved in a desperate bid to avoid relegation.

In Division Two, we know one of the sides who will be promoted – Belfast Harlequins – but any one from three, UL Bohemians, Old Crescent or Barnhall could join them, while Dolphin and Wanderers struggle to avoid joining City of Derry as the relegated side.

And in Division Three, Greystones need to win in Skerries to be promoted as champions unless Naas can turn Trinity over in College Park.
