Munster will play Leinster in Musgrave Park on Friday April 19th at 7.30pm and will complete their interprovincial programme with a game against Ulster in Ravenhill on Fri. May 10th
The game against Leinster will act as the ideal warm-up for Munster a week ahead of their clash with Castres in the semi-final of the Heineken Cup. And should they get over that particular hurdle in the south of France then the Ravenhill fixture will also act as important preparation for the final.
The Ulster Branch issued a statement as follows in relation to the revised schedule.
The IRFU (Ulster Branch) would like to advise that Ulster’s two remaining Guinness Interprovincial Championship games against Munster and Connacht have been re-scheduled:
Ulster versus Connacht at Galway Sportsground on Friday 19th April, 2002 (KO: TBC)
Ulster versus Munster at Ravenhill on Friday 10th May, 2002 (Kick off 7.30pm)
