McHugh in Charge of Leicester v Llanelli

14/03/02.Ireland’s Dave McHugh has been appointed to take charge of the Heineken Cup semi-final clash between defending champions Leicester Tigers and Llanelli in Notingham.

The game will be played at the City Ground, Nottingham, on Sunday, 28 April (kick-off 3.00 pm). McHugh (pictured), 46, has already refereed two Heineken Cup finals, Cardiff against
Toulouse in 1996 and last May’s thriller in Paris when Leicester Tigers beat Stade Francais. He controlled his 21st international a month ago, when France beat Wales in Cardiff.

Chris White of England will referee the Castres Olympique against Munster semi-final at Stade de la Mediterranee, Beziers, on Saturday, 27 April (kick-off 3.00 pm).The 38-year-old controlled his 15th major international 12 days ago, when Wales beat Italy at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.

Rob Dickson (Scotland) will referee the Parker Pen Shield semi-final between London Irish and Pontypridd at The Kassam Stadium, Oxford, on 27
April (kick-off 5.30 pm), with Nigel Whitehouse (Wales) in charge at Franklin’s Gardens, Northampton, for the Gloucester v Sale Sharks match on 28 April (kick-off 2.00 pm).
