Ireland’s Squad for Italian Job Later Today

14/03/02.The Ireland squad, from which the side to play Italy will be selected, will be named later today following the four day get-together in Belfast

At this stage, Rob Henderson (pictured) and Kevin Maggs appear to be the only two out of contention. Henderson is suffering from a groin strain he picked up in the game against England. But there was good news, with Keith Gleeson (groin) and David Humphreys (ankle) both taking a full part while Alan Quinlan (calf) and Tyrone Howe (thigh) looking in better shape although they sat out the morning session.

Meanwhile, Italian coach Brad Johnstone has announced a near full-strength squad of 24 for the visit to Dublin with Diego Dominguez, Dennis Dallan and Paulo Vaccari all returning from injury.
