Munster Under 21 Management 2002/2003

28/02/02.Ted Mulcahy steps down as manager of the Munster U21 side, while former Irish international, former Ireland backs coach Phillip Danagher aligns himself with his provinces’ younger brigade

The Munster Branch (IRFU) have announced the U21 management team for next season (2002/2003) and while long standing team manager Ted Mulcahy has stepped down there is a return to representative involvement for former international Phillip Danagher (Garryowen). Danagher along with Tom Murphy (Cork con) will assist the management team in identifying players for the squad and in the selection process.

Ted Mulcahy steps down after six years as team manager and the Munster Branch would like to acknowledge the time and effort he put into the work. Shannon’s Niall O’Shea succeeds him while Pat Cross continues as coach and will again have Brian Hyland as his assistant.

Team Coach – Pat Cross (Young Munster).
Asst Coach – Brian Hyland (UCC).
