The venue for Munster’s Heineken Cup semi final game is still unknown. The game will be played on Saturday April 27th somewhere in France, with a 3pm (local time) kick off. A statement issued by ERC last Wednesday indicated that a decision on the whereabouts of the venue would be announced yesterday (Thursday) but that information was not forthcoming.

It is thought that the options rest between Lyon or Beziers with Munster officials favouring the former because of it’s easier accessibility for travelling supporters. However Beziers although it has a capacity somewhat short of the required 20,000, is the preferred option of Castres.

The other semi final involving Leicester Tigers and Llanelli will be played on Sunday April 28th at the City Ground in Nottingham, home to Nottingham Forest FC.
