Erika Wessell replaces Mary O’Loughlin at number 8 on the Irish Womens side for the game against England at Worcester on Sunday next (2.30 pm). O’Loughlin has a badly bruised foot, picked up in the game against Wales which Ireland lost narrowly (13-9).

The Welsh player Liza Burgess was cited for an incident in that match and has been handed a three match ban by the WRU.

The Ireland squad will assemble in Dublin on Saturday, train in St Patricks College, Drumcondra, in the afternoon and fly out on Sunday for Worcester via Luton airport.
