Shannon missed the opportunity to return to the top of the AIB League Division One when they were beaten 21-13 by Cork Con in Temple Hill.

Shannon missed the opportunity to return to the top of the AIB League Division One when they were beaten 21-13 by Cork Con in Temple Hill. Conor Mahony scored sixteen of Con’s total – a try, conversion, two penalties and a drop goal while his younger brother Cian scored their other try.

Tommy Cregan kicked two penalties and converted Derek Hegarty’s try for Shannon.
