Connacht finished their Parker Pen Pool 4 programme in the south of France where they went down 34-22 to Narbonne. That result, coupled with the results from Castres and Toulouse completed a miserable weekend for Irish sides in European competition.

Connacht’s scores came courtesy of a Wayne Munn try and seventeen points from the boot of Eric Elwood. Elwood was wining his 100th cap for Connacht
