Leinster Head Back to England

The Leinster v Newcastle tie postponed twice over the weekend will now take place tomorrow (Tuesday) at Headingley the home of Leeds Tykes.

Leinster wll fly out tomorrow morning on a special charter from Dublin for the game that is scheduled to kick off at 7.30pm. Then, on Wednesday morning, they continue on to Toulouse for their final Pool game which has been switched to Sunday (2.30pm, local time).

Although it has been a frustrating period for the Leinster squad, with more than too much time spent in airport depature lounges, the mood in the camp is good according to PRO Tom McCormack. “There has been a lot of hanging around over the past few days and obviously the preparation hasn’t been ideal but these are professionals and they adapt well. We had a really good training session today in Old Belvedere and everyone is in a very positive mood.”
