Munster hopes of Celtic League glory suffered a further blow with the news that Peter Stringer is doubtful for Saturday’s clash with Leinster.

Munster hopes of Celtic League glory suffered a further blow with the news that Peter Stringer is rated doubtful for Saturday’s clash with Leinster. Announcing the team from Thomond Park, coach Declan Kidney named an unchanged pack but there were just three backs, Ronan O’Gara, wing Anthony Horgan and full-back Dominic Crotty, specifically selected. Stringer hurt an ankle in the win over Ulster and a decision on his participation may not be made until the day of the game. The positions from 12-14 will be filled by Mike Mullins, Jason Holland, Rob Henderson, John Kelly or John O’Neill.
