England Cruise Past Boks.

England were comfortable 29-9 winners over South Africa at Twickenham with Jonny Wilkinson accounting for 21 of his side’s total.

The Newcastle Falcons star was on target with seven from nine shots at goal and there was an injury time try for Dan Luger to put further gloss on a fine performance. Wilkinson kicked three first half penalties to take a 9-6 lead into the break and he added four more in an England controlled second period. Mike Catt chipped in with a drop goal and in injury time, with the Springbok pressing for a consolation try, Bobby Skinstad threw a loose pass and Luger intercepted and scorced away for a try.

In other games, France thrashed Fiji 77-10 and Scotland fell to the All Blacks 37-6 at Murrayfield.
