Irish on Song in Premiership

Irish internationals Geordan Murphy, Justin Bishop, Kieron Dawson and Paul Burke all played vital roles in their club’s victories over the weekend.

Murphy scored a brace of tries in Leicester’s 37-3 win over Sale Sharks on Saturday. Paul Burke ended up with a personal haul of 28 points as Harlequins thumped their London neighbours Saracens, 43-6 and Bishop and Dawson scored tries for London Irish who beat Northampton 48-12. Barry Everitt converted five of the seven ‘Irish’ tries and also knocked over a penalty.
