Costello out of Ireland A team to play New Zealand

A rib injury has forced Victor Costello out of the Ireland A side for next Tuesday’s A international

Victor Costello (Leinster) has withdrawn from the Ireland A team to play New Zealand in the Irish Permanent A International at Ravenhill, Belfast, on Tuesday, November 13th, due to a rib injury.

Tony McWhirter (Ulster) will replace Costello in the A team and Andy Ward (Ulster) has been called into the replacements.

The Ireland A squad will arrive in Belfast on Saturday and prepare for Tuesday’s international at Queens University Playing Fields on the Upper Malone Road.
