An injury time try from Tyrone Howe, converted by Paddy Wallace gave Ulster a sensational 19-16 win over Stade Francais in Ravenhill tonight. Howe’s try came after a sustained period of Ulster presure when they trailed 16-12. It seemed their chance had gone when an attmpted David Humphreys penalty for position ended up touch in goal and Stade cleared their lines. But to their great credit, Ulster heads never dropped and they were rightly rewarded with that late Howe strike to send the 13000 in attendance wild with delight.
