As the Beach Tag games got underway amidst the music, the sound of the starter hooter and referee whistles, beachgoers at Curracloe Beach took to the Stands (well, dunes actually) to watch teams compete in the first ever Bud Light Beach Tag event in this wonderful part of a quite literally Sunny South East coast.

With the music pumping, the sun shining, the BBQ sizzling and Suttonians RFC alive with tag matches all day, the Bud Light Tag All-Ireland Championships 2010 turned out to be the huge day out for all as predicted with a record number of sixty-four teams and their supporters present.

The Bud Light Beach Tag season concludes on Saturday, August 14 in Curracloe, Co.Wexford, where already places are being snapped up in rapid fashion.

2800 points, 1600 tries, 700 BBQ burgers, 220 men, 195 women, 168 Tags, 150 matches, 80 table quiz questions, 30 Tag teams, 25 African drums, 14 referees, 10 weeks, 6 pitches, 5 hypnotised lotto winners, 4 blue mooses, 3 comedians, 2 cans of cream, 1 ceili and a lightning strike...all added up to a fantastic summer of Bud Light Tag at Enniscorthy RFC.

Groups and Fixtures for the Bud Light Tag All-Ireland at Suttonians have now been finalised.
Teams from each province will descend upon this great tag venue making August 7th a true ALL-Ireland Championship

The 2010 Bud Light Tag All-Ireland Championships, taking place at Suttonians RFC on Saturday, August 7, will now see a record number of teams from all over Ireland gather to compete for the titles in their respective mixed grades. This high demand ensured grades reached their capacity in a matter of a couple of days.
