A powerhouse hooker with an accurate lineout throw, DENIS FOGARTY is hoping to make his mark with the Ireland ’A’ team this summer.
He was part of the Ireland Under-21 side that reached the 2004 World Championship final before losing to New Zealand.
A Heineken Cup winners’ medal followed two years later with Munster.
The younger brother of Connacht hooker John Fogarty recovered from injury to play his part in Cork Constitution’s AIB League title win this season.
