Niall Ronan

A naturally-talented flanker who comes up with some crucial plays at close quarters, NIALL RONAN popped up with some impressive tries in his season season with Munster including a hat-trick against Glasgow.

A former Meath minor footballer who rose through rugby's Youths system, he made good headway during his four years with Leinster, being selected as the province's Young Player of the Year and featuring for Ireland at the 2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens.

He moved to Munster in 2007 and picked up a Heineken Cup winner's medal in 2008.

Ronan made his International debut on the 2009 Summer Tour to Canada and USA before going on to feature for Ireland 'A' in winning the Churchill Cup.
