A streetwise scrum half who is quick off the mark, FRANK MURPHY is hoping to add to his Ireland ’A’ caps tally having debuted at last year’s Churchill Cup.

Two seasons at Leicester Tigers have brought his game on, after stints in Ireland with Crosshaven, UCC, Cork Constitution and Munster.

The 26-year-old Corkman previously won international caps at Schools and Under-21 levels and ended last season by appearing for Leicester in the Guinness Premiership and Heineken Cup finals. He has agreed to join Connacht next season.
