The Poyntzpass man shared the number 2 jersey with Jerry Flannery during the 2009 Grand Slam run, making one start against Scotland but coming up
with some big plays in all five games.
Best captained Ireland on the 2009 Summer Tour to North America and has become the first choice Irish hooker in recent seasons. A proud member of Banbridge RFC, Best again captained Ireland in the 2012 RBS 6 Nations.
